Kelly Simkowski

Kelly Simkowski is a Chicago area-based birth and postpartum Doula with additional experience with multiples, NICU stays and HypnoBirth training.  She is DONA and ProDoula trained and certified.

She has been led through her own experience with fertility struggles and medicalized births to make birth a sacred occasion. She wants to ensure every birthing mother has someone to support them in claiming their power and in trusting their bodies. Hiring a doula is the greatest way to honor your birth experience and make it unique to you!

Kelly is a born nurturer and loves to “mother” the birthing person during labor and also during their immediate postpartum journey.  She intuitively reads baby language and loves teaching that skill to new parents, so they soon become experts in communicating with their little one.  Her organizational skills help families get in to a gentle rhythm that fits their own unique style.

In her free time, Kelly enjoys travel, hiking in the woods, reading, gardening and hanging out with her 5 children.  She has been know to binge watch Netflix on occasion, too!
