Amanda Kumi

Amanda is a well loved CAPPA postpartum doula on our team. She is a natural caretaker who loves to jump in and support families wherever they need. Prior to becoming a doula, she enjoyed caring for families as a nanny and babysitter.

She believes caring for families and women during pregnancy, birth and postpartum is a calling for her. When she is not supporting families she is dedicated to her studies as she is a Healthcare Leadership graduate who aspires to become a Physician Assistant.

Working with children is part of her ministry. She passionately cares for babies, children, families, and households. As a doula, she provides the family with a sense of peace as she jumps right in and cares for the entire family. She ensures that families feel completely comfortable entrusting their babies and children with her. She values the upkeep and safety of infants and children under her care, she is very experienced with many children as she has had the privilege to take care of many families. She also has a very calm and sweet character which establishes strong bonding with children, babies, and parents.

Amanda works and Volunteers at Church, she works for the children’s ministry and also in the choir, Ministrant songs in Bible teachings to both the congregation and the kids in the children’s ministry have given her the ability to communicate clearly to her audiences. She also loves caring for her nephew, niece, and cousins.
