Natural healing for your hard working body

From conception to fourth trimester recovery, having a baby is hard work for your body. Acupuncture therapy is a natural way to support your body’s efforts and help you feel like your best self.

Traditional medicine meets modern needs

Acupuncture has been used as part of healing practices throughout the world for thousands of years. The practice promotes blood circulation in targeted areas of the body and encourages the body’s natural systems to promote healing and wellness.  Acupuncture can help with pain management and stress reduction and is commonly used in reproductive health including in fertility treatments, during pregnancy to manage common symptoms, and postpartum to aid recovery.

What to expect

Our licensed acupuncturists will assess your needs and develop a customized care plan to help you best achieve your desired results.  During an acupuncture session, your expert practitioner will insert tiny needles (1/10 the size of a needle you typically encounter at the doctor’s office) into the skin at specific points and “activate” them using movement or electrical stimulation. The needles are left in place for 10-15 minutes, then removed. Results are often felt after a single treatment- the best results are typically achieved over time, as the impact of multiple therapy sessions build on one another and your body grows healthier.
