Briana Oden

Briana Oden is a full spectrum doula located in Chicago, IL, who has a passion for helping new and expecting families. After supporting family and friends throughout their pregnancy and feeding journeys for the past eight years, Briana decided to make it official by certifying as a birth and postpartum doula. She prides herself on being patient, respectful, reliable, and emotionally present for her clients.

Briana’s journey into doula work was deeply influenced by her own experience with pregnancy and birth trauma in 2014. This personal experience fueled her goal to help families gain the appropriate knowledge and support surrounding pregnancy, birth, feeding, and the postpartum period. She is dedicated to ensuring that her clients feel supported and heard in all birthing scenarios, helping them adjust to the changes that newborn life brings with as much rest and confidence as possible.

Briana’s approach to doula work emphasizes providing comprehensive support to her clients, from pregnancy through the postpartum period. She aims to empower families with the knowledge and resources they need to navigate their unique journeys confidently. Her dedication to birth justice drives her to advocate for her clients, ensuring they receive the care and respect they deserve.

When not fighting for birth justice, Briana is busy homeschooling her two young boys, ages 6 and 8, and being a dedicated soccer mom. She also runs her own handmade bath and body business, as well as an event space. Briana’s multifaceted life reflects her commitment to her family, her clients, and her community.
