Caitlyn Proepper

Caitlyn Proepper is a compassionate and dedicated Birth and Postpartum Doula, committed to supporting families through every stage of their parenting journey. She's been supporting clients throughout Lake County since 2022. Since beginning her work as a doula, Caitlyn has combined evidence-based knowledge with an intuitive, nurturing approach to provide personalized care during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Her training as a Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, Perinatal Nutrition Educator, and Breastfeeding Counselor equips her to meet a wide range of client needs with empathy and expertise.

Caitlyn believes that every family deserves to feel informed, empowered, and supported as they welcome their new baby. She offers continuous emotional, physical, and informational support tailored to each family's unique preferences and goals. Whether assisting with birth planning, offering comfort techniques during labor, supporting healing and adjustment during postpartum recovery, or providing breastfeeding guidance, Caitlyn’s calm presence and nonjudgmental support help families feel confident and cared for.

Outside of her work with families, Caitlyn is passionate about continuing education, staying current on best practices in maternal, newborn, and postpartum care. She is committed to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for all families, recognizing the importance of individualized support. Caitlyn brings warmth, encouragement, and professionalism to every relationship, helping clients not just navigate, but truly thrive during this transformational time.
