Bio

Carleigh Joseph is a licensed master social worker, perinatal doula, family educator and maternal mental health therapist with a passion for making a direct impact with families in her community. 

Carleigh's passion for birthwork and advocacy for resources motivated her to achieve a master's degree in Social Work with a specialization in Children and Families. Carleigh has furthered her knowledge base post-grad by completing maternal mental health trainings with Postpartum Support International and birth doula, postpartum doula and new parent educator courses with Childbirth and Postpartum Professionals Association (CAPPA). Carleigh's work in each of her respective fields allows her to provide a multifaceted approach to empowering families and providing holistic care that nurtures both the body and mind during the perinatal period. 

Carleigh believes in the transformative power of support, education, and community. Her mission is to provide transformative support and education to women and families to restore the strength of "The Village". She is a proud graduate of Prairie View A&M University and University of Texas at Arlington, adoring wife, and proud mother.

My hope for you is that your journey in the perinatal period be empowering and leave you feeling informed, supported and confident. As you and your family navigate the physical and emotional challenges of childbirth and parenting, I am dedicated to providing supportive care that nurtures the nurturer in you.
