Her unique approach centers on empathy, personalized care, and inclusive support, ensuring that every family member, including older siblings and fathers, feels involved and confident.
Geneva's professional journey began in Tulsa, OK, and led her to Houston, TX, where she has been a dedicated Birth/Postpartum Doula for over 3 years. She received her training from Doula Trainings International (DTI) and has since provided invaluable support to numerous families. Her comprehensive training and extensive experience enable her to offer evidence-based information on infant feeding, comfort measures, nutrition, initial breastfeeding, affirmations, physical and mental support, infant soothing, and basic newborn care.
As a postpartum doula, Geneva's sessions are characterized by continuous physical and emotional support tailored to each family's needs. She is committed to helping parents establish routines that ensure the best possible outcomes in the first 12 weeks and beyond. Geneva's warm and kind approach, combined with her dedication to staying informed about the latest in newborn care, makes her an invaluable resource for new parents.
In addition to her doula services, Geneva enjoys making arts and crafts, watching movies about babies, and reading informative materials about supporting new families. She loves taking walks near water, where she feels most grounded. Geneva is a non-smoker and prefers cats over dogs. "It is my honor and privilege to serve you," says Geneva, reflecting her deep commitment to her clients' well-being and confidence as they embark on their parenting journey.
