Harriet Boateng

Harriet Boateng has been a Newborn care specialist based in Chicago, Illinois since 1996. She is certified through Newborn and Postpartum Support (NAPS), and is a Licensed Home Daycare Provider.

In 2012, Harriet ran a home-based daycare where she took care of children from ages newborn to 10 years old. She also previously worked at Northwestern Medicine for 9 years as a Medical Assistant in Prentice in the OBGYN department taking care of expecting mothers and postpartum mothers.

Harriet has worked with families in Chicago, Wilmette, Kenilworth, Skokie, and Indiana. Her experience in childcare has given her the confidence to teach and advise new parents when the need comes. She is a strong communicator, a problem solver, dependable, nurturing and loving, compassionate caregiver with a high patience level to aid those encountering stressful situations.
