Heather Bethune

Heather Bethune is a trained postpartum doula (CAPPA) based in Wicker Park, Chicago. Growing up as the oldest of nine children, she has always loved caring for infants and babies, continually fascinated by the intelligence of little humans. Heather brings a wealth of intuitive wisdom and calm confidence into every home where she has been privileged to be a caregiver.

Heather’s journey into doula work was significantly influenced by her own experiences as a mother, which solidified and broadened her passion for reproductive justice. She envisions a world where mothers and babies are always thriving, and her work as a doula is an expression of this vision. Heather is dedicated to providing nurturing support to families during the postpartum period, ensuring that they feel empowered and cared for.

Outside of her doula work, Heather enjoys a vibrant life with her partner and children in the city. She loves long walks, riding her bike everywhere, and spending time at city parks with her family and friends. Heather’s dedication to her family and her community enriches her practice, making her a trusted and beloved support for the families she serves.
