Laura Steiglitz

Laura Steiglitz is a CAPPA Certified Postpartum Doula and an Elite Newborn Care Specialist based in Chicago, Illinois. Whether she is helping to establish healthy sleep patterns, assisting with baby gear selection and setup, or managing sets of multiples, her first priority is making sure that the newborns in her care are given the best start in life. Through parent education, she strives to create a sense of calm and confidence for the family, especially for first-time parents who may need additional guidance.

She finds true joy in empowering new parents with the knowledge and confidence they need to start their journey with their children. Laura believes in being a proactive partner with parents, adapting to the family’s individual needs and applying her many years of training and experience to handle any challenge.

With experience in caring for premature babies, managing orthopedic conditions, special dietary needs, reflux, allergies, feeding challenges, colic, and eczema, Laura brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Laura is committed to continuous learning, always seeking educational opportunities to expand her skill set and stay up to date on best practices in newborn care. Additionally, Laura is a Child Passenger Safety Technician and can assist families with keeping their little ones as safe as possible during their travels.
