Mandy Golman, PhD, MS, RN, BSN, IBCLC is an RN, Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and postpartum doula with over 25 years of experience in childbirth, breastfeeding and parenting education. Dr. Golman is committed to improving the postpartum experience and providing families the tools they need to achieve their breastfeeding goals.
In addition to working with new families, she is a professor in the School of Health Promotion and Kinesiology at Texas Woman's University (TWU) and is also Co-Director of the TWU Institute of Women’s Health, a collaborative research hub dedicated to leading the charge on research and improving the lives of women around the world and is a frequent, in-demand speaker known for delivering engaging and accessible workshops on female wellness, lactation, parenting, sexuality, and positive body image.
Moms and babies are my passion! I especially love lactation challenges and am committed to evidence-based practice. I love helping new parents problem solve, am inclusive and nonjudgemental, and hold myself to the highest standard of excellence in the care I provide my clients.
