Marneshia Hiner is a full-spectrum doula specializing in birth and postpartum support based in Chicago, Illinois. With a passion for empowering and nurturing birthing parents and their families, she provides comprehensive care for both physical and emotional needs. Her approach is supported by over a decade of experience in Early Childhood Education, with a special dedication to supporting diverse families and advocating for pregnant teen mothers.
Marneshia began her journey working in a childcare program, which sparked her passion for education and support. Since 2013, she has held roles as a childcare teacher, trainer, director, education specialist, and advocate. She is certified and trained through Sokana Collective, blending her technical knowledge with genuine care. Her background displays personalized and well-rounded care for each family she supports.
In her doula practice, Marneshia aims to create a nurturing environment where parents feel safe and empowered to advocate for the birthing experience they envision. Her sessions focus on holistic support, offering guidance and reassurance. As a Quality Assessor for a nationally accredited Early Childhood Education organization, Marneshia applies her attentive approach to enhance the quality of her doula services. When not supporting families, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and watching engaging series on Netflix.
