Bio

Natalie is a birth and postpartum doula based in Chicago, IL. With a master’s in Public Health and years of multidisciplinary work, she aims to improve pre/postnatal health outcomes and increase birth equity by using holistically-driven and evidence-based strategies.

Seeking to understand the systems at play that both prevent and promote community health and wellbeing, Natalie is especially interested in using this knowledge to improve the health and mental health outcomes of pregnant people and new parents. While earning her master’s in Public Health, she focused her research on expanding perinatal health education, understanding the use of doulas and community support systems to reduce maternal mental health incidence, and advocating for birth equity and healthcare access.

She has worked as a pre/postnatal yoga instructor for over five years supporting families prepare for birth and heal from labor. Now, she combines her experience with facilitating mind-body connection and healing to support pre/postnatal clients holistically. She loves working with families to provide infant care, labor prep, and be a calming presence in a chaotic time.
