Paris Morris is a birth and postpartum doula and a student midwife based in Chicago, Illinois. Her journey into birth work began with the profound experience of delivering her first child, which inspired her to support and empower other women in their birthing choices. Years later, during her second pregnancy, she discovered the role of doulas and was inspired to become one herself, aiming to provide the same empowering experience she had.
Professionally trained through Doula Training and DoulA Certification (DONA) International and currently pursuing certification, Paris has gained valuable knowledge and experience from both DONA and Chicago Volunteer Doulas (CVD). She is also trained in placenta encapsulation and CPR/NRP. Her approach is grounded in the belief that every family deserves a supportive and empowering birth experience. She is committed to providing personalized care that respects each family's unique needs and preferences.
As a student midwife, Paris Morris is expanding her skills and knowledge to further support families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Her goal is to become a midwife, using her extensive doula experience to enhance her midwifery practice. She finds immense joy in being part of the birth and postpartum journey, and her dedication to empowering women and supporting families shines through in every aspect of her work. With a deep commitment to helping others, she looks forward to continuing her journey in birth work and making a positive impact on the lives of the families she serves.
