Bio

Pongella's mission in life is to help improve maternal fetal birth outcomes and assist new mothers as they transition into parenthood. She loves helping expectant mothers with one hand at a time. Pongella is a graduate of Cardinal Strich University. She also took nursing classes at Bryant & Straton College in 2019. She is a Certified Doula through Dona since 2015. She is also Infant & Adult CPR certified and a childbirth Educator. Pongella's Doula experience includes working with expectant mothers closely during birth, their postnatal, and postpartum periods for over 11 years. She ensures her clients recover, bond with their newborn baby, and heal stress-free with her Doula care support services.

Pongella successfully completed a special Doula certification professional credential course that assesses, test, and measures a doula’s proficiency level in major key areas in the industry on October 28, 2024. She is a loving mother of

two girls, and has always had an interest in helping moms and newborns. Growing up, she had the opportunity to volunteer at a youth center and daycare which gave her the opportunity to be around newborns, toddlers, and preschoolers. In addition to providing excellent prenatal, birth, and postpartum care services, Pongella also provides sibling care. She has experience offering specialized sibling care services to families with multi-children.

As a Birth worker, Pongella believes every woman deserves all the support they can get in the most comfortable way possible during and after childbirth. Pongella has great interpersonal, communication, and bedside manner skills. She can be there to support any mother during their pregnancy, labor, delivery, and beyond day or night. Pongella provides reliable service to each client with physical and emotional support during any stage of their pregnancy or postpartum period. Pongella is that advocate, holistic, calm, relaxed and attentive birth-support person for you during your birth or when you leave the hospital to go home with the baby. Pongella enjoys working with pregnant or new mothers to help them have a beautiful birth experience each and every time. She prides herself on giving and delivering the best care possible to each client she serves.
