Sandra Adan

Sandra Adan is a Chicago based birth and postpartum doula. She obtained her Birth Doula certification from DONA International. Sandra holds a Bachelors of Science in Child Development and is an early childhood educator at heart. She has over ten years of experience working with children in formal settings such as daycares and public school classrooms. Her most early experiences working with families and children come from helping her parents raise her siblings.

As a lifelong learner, Sandra believes there are always opportunities for learning and growth. Sandra’s role as a community doula has brought on a passion to help those who are underserved get the education, advocacy, support, and resources they need as they navigate becoming new parent, adding to their families, or adapting to a new country. She believes that everyone deserves a doula regardless of their background or status. She loves learning about other’s cultures and traditions and encouraging them keep them alive for their future generations.

My hope is that I can be your guide and support as you navigate through the most transformative and unique journey of pregnancy and postpartum. I hope that I can help give you the tools to be successful as you navigate pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and becoming a new parent.
