Shaquaya Frank is a prenatal and postpartum doula through the Mama Glow Foundation and with additional training from CAPPA. Specializing in sound healing, nutrition, holistic postpartum care, emotional support, and newborn care, Shaquaya has over five years of experience in the maternal health field. Her mission is to empower families by supporting informed choices and creating nurturing environments during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
Ms. Frank earned her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from the University of Pittsburgh. Her distinguished career in supporting families is driven by a commitment to education and holistic care, believing that informed decision-making is crucial throughout the maternal journey.
Shaquaya's path to becoming a doula was profoundly influenced by her personal experiences with childbirth. Her own journey through motherhood revealed the significant impact a compassionate and knowledgeable presence can have on a birthing person's confidence and well-being.
Outside of her professional work, she enjoys creating cherished memories with her son, practicing mindful exercises such as yoga and meditation, traveling, watching sports, and thrifting.
