Shreya’s journey into physical therapy began in 2014, inspired by her father's battle with diabetes. Witnessing him endure numerous treatments and medications, often accompanied by side effects, led her to explore alternative treatment options. This exploration revealed the healing potential of physical therapy, igniting her passion for helping individuals regain their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions. Shreya earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Loma Linda University, California, and holds a Master's degree in Exercise Science from California Baptist University.
Shreya has a strong interest in providing care to pre-partum and post-partum patients experiencing musculoskeletal pain, pelvic pain, and pelvic floor dysfunctions. She has specialized training in pelvic floor rehabilitation from Evidence in Motion. Her therapeutic techniques include manual therapy, biofeedback, tailored exercise programs, and therapeutic pain management, all aimed at enhancing pelvic floor flexibility, strength, and function. Additionally, Shreya is dedicated to educating her patients on lifestyle changes and self-care strategies to support their recovery and prevent future issues. She also specializes in vestibular rehabilitation.
Shreya's professional affiliations include the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Section on Women's Health of the APTA. Her approach integrates evidence-based practices with a compassionate understanding of her patients' unique needs. She is passionate about empowering her patients and is committed to providing the highest standard of care to help them achieve their health goals. Shreya looks forward to making a positive impact on her patients' lives at Partum Health. Outside of work, Shreya enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, strength training, and cooking delicious Indian food.
