Taler Moore is a registered nurse with a background in antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum and newborn intensive care unit. What sets her apart from most doulas is her relaxed and flexible nature. She has a very go-with-your-flow approach balanced with the confidence that you can have your baby. Whether it's massage, words of affirmation, gentle rocking, silence, or a supportive and reassuring presence, Taler is here to support whatever the need may be.
Taler's mission is to bring back the importance of a safe, loving, and knowledgeable birth experience. She believes all people deserve to be surrounded by a community of unconditional support as they become parents. Her passion for women’s health was sparked by the 2016 death of Kira Johnson, a mama whose c-section took a turn for the worst. The maternal mortality rate, especially black women, increased her drive to help educate women during their journey.
My hope is to help my clients make informed decisions about their care and support them throughout their pregnancy and birth journey. I look forward to connecting with you and sharing the warmth and support.
