Taylor Jefferson

Taylor Jefferson is an accomplished birth and postpartum doula with five years of experience in birth work and nearly two decades in women's health, pediatrics, and family medicine. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, and hailing from the Sugar Land/Richmond area, Taylor is deeply passionate about providing culturally sensitive, non-judgmental, and family-focused care to birthing persons. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston-Victoria. While being certified by DONA International as a birth and postpartum doula she is also a certified childbirth educator. Taylor provides lactation education and is a provisional Spinning Babies® Certified Parent Educator, empowering families through every stage of their birthing journey and beyond.

As a member of an all-African American female doula collective based in Richmond, Texas, Taylor is dedicated to uplifting her community alongside her "doula sisters." Her extensive healthcare background and compassionate approach allow her to offer comprehensive support, from childbirth education to postpartum care, helping families feel confident and supported. She is focused on contributing to sustainable solutions that will eradicate the maternal health crisis in the U.S.

In addition to her work as a doula, Taylor enjoys expressing her creativity through floral design, latte art, and crafting. She’s known for her beautifully crafted charcuterie boards that are almost too pretty to eat! Outside of her professional commitments, Taylor is actively involved in her church community, participating in worship services and serving in the baby dedication ministry. Her devotion to faith, family, and community is reflected in the care and support she provides to each family she works with.
